I had the opportunity to work with Meat and Poultry of Ontario in developing and marketing their VR game “Premium Cut” as part of my internship, where I worked as the 2D technical artist. The game was designed to simulate what a career in butchering is like and develop interest among high school students.
I was later hired again for a promotion/marketer role to create infographics and promotional material for the company and game. With the infographics I was able to bring awareness to the game and training opportunities of Center for Meat Innovation and Technology Company.

What I did:
I was authorised to create textures, logos, UI elements, and more that were implemented into the final version of the game.
I was able to fill leadership and public speaker roles within the team and deliberate tasks for the team.
Managed the team by providing tasks and a timeline to complete the project.
Created marketing materials and videos for the project.

Game Development Student Association
What is GDSA?
The Game Development Students Association (GDSA) is an Ontario Tech University based club. Student executives representing the program as the GDSA operate with the goal in mind of furthering Ontario Tech’s Game Development program and providing our students with opportunities and tools to grow on their journey as game developers.
What I did as VP of Communications:
I was able to excel in creating infographics for social media such as Instagram, Linkedin, and Discord.
I was in charge of marketing events on different social media platforms.
I was able to make short form content like instagram reels and photography.
Created several events such as game jams, game nights, hosted Guest Speakers, etc.
GameCon is a celebration of technological, creative and artistic innovation within the Game Development program at Ontario Tech University. It is an annual Game Development showcase hosted by both Ontario Tech’s Game Development Student’s Association and Game Development Faculty
The student work presented at GameCon are playable games that have been created by students over the academic year from the ground up. The showcase is followed by an awards ceremony that recognizes the most impressive games of the year.
